Private Parties

We are happy to organise private parties either here at the cookery school in Alresford or at another suitable venue.

We have had many successful hen cookery parties and children's birthday parties (youngest age so far 3 years!). We would now like to have an attempt at a stag cookery party - any takers?!

Hen parties have so far included cooking canapes and enjoying those with a few glasses of bubbles before going on to even more sophisticated food or belly dancing. Other ideas have included baking lots of sweet goodies to take home, or simply cooking a three course meal with friends and then enjoying the meal here at the school with some carefully selected wines.

Children's parties are very popular here at the school - we can accommodate up to 16 children (minimum 8) of any age (as long as they are able to see over the top of the worktop!). Our standard formula is a two and half hour session timed to finish either at lunchtime or for an early supper (10.30am to 1pm or 3pm to 5.30pm - we can do other timings too to suit your schedule) during which the children will cook and eat their own meal (handmade tagliatelle and sundried tomato and basil sauce being the most popular choice). They get to  take home some creations to show off and/or share eg chocolate brownies or cupcakes, along with the recipes they have cooked that day. We supply aprons for them to wear during the session. We ask parents to supply a birthday cake if they want to although we can provide a cake at extra cost. Cost per child is £25.
