A "Family cookery day" was enjoyed by the Browne family on 11th Sept 2011, and they commented as follows:-

"10 adults & 4 young grandchildren were welcomed into Cook academy for a day's family cooking;a Golden wedding present to us from our children.The very full day exceded our expectations by way of menu the teams were shown how to prepare and cook; crab & chive tart,tomato sorbet,boned stuffed poussin,espagnole sauce,quick dauphinoise potatoes,tuile biscuits & orange and grand marnier souffles.

Kate's instruction was perfect and her composure all day, so calm.Dave was excellent with the grandchildren and Zac invaluable as the "pot man". Having each preared & cooked the total menu,the teams sat down to eat and enjoy it.....and enjoy it ,we did !........It was a great day .................Richard & Cate Browne. 11th September 2011
